{"id":4288,"date":"2025-12-20T15:34:35","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T15:34:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sundaypapers.org.uk\/?p=4288"},"modified":"2025-12-06T10:30:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T10:30:08","slug":"pioneer-breath-prayers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sundaypapers.org.uk\/?p=4288","title":{"rendered":"Pioneer Breath Prayers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I really like <a href=\"https:\/\/colearthurriley.com\/\">Cole Arthur Riley\u2019s<\/a> writing and in particular the Inhale and Exhale breath prayers. \u00a0This one stuck me for this current time. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sundaypapers.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_0429.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4289\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sundaypapers.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_0429.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a>I think her work is great but understand it\u2019s an approach to prayer that has been around a long time. In the fx advent series we used the breath prayer approach but it also made me wonder what pioneer breath prayers might look like as I particularly like the balance so played with these as some possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>inhale &#8211; possibility is within you<\/p>\n<p>exhale &#8211; another world is possible<\/p>\n<p>inhale &#8211; the kindom is now<\/p>\n<p>exhale &#8211; the kindom is not yet<\/p>\n<p>inhale &#8211; we journey to the edge spaces<\/p>\n<p>exhale &#8211; we find kinship along the way<\/p>\n<p>inhale &#8211; from dust we came<\/p>\n<p>exhale &#8211; we call the walls to dust<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I really like Cole Arthur Riley\u2019s writing and in particular the Inhale and Exhale breath prayers. \u00a0This one stuck me for this current time.
